Do you need to print a full-color monthly magazine? Or perhaps a two-color quarterly journal? How about several thousand two-color brochures that need to go out on a weekly basis. None of these scenarios are a problem at Documation! Documation can print one or 500,000 pieces (and any quantity in between) of any given print project utilizing our vast variety of presses.
Documation's offset presses run large to mid-range quantity jobs and can handle any kind of printed piece from one color to full color with treatments. In fact, Documation just purchased a new Komori LS840 8-color perfecting (prints four colors on each side at the same time) press to increase our ability to print larger run, multiple page magazines and marketing pieces more quickly and efficiently.
We also have mid-size offset and web presses to run one, two and four color projects like large to mid-range quantity book covers, black and white or full-color book bodies and marketing pieces. These presses also allow us to apply gloss to satin aqueous or varnish coatings.
Documation has just made a major breakthrough in high-volume digital color production with our recent acquisition of an HP Indigo 7000 Digital Press which is the world's most technologically advanced sheet fed digital solution. It's a powerful engine for high-volume production of 1-7 color jobs with run lengths ranging from one-of-a-kind pieces, up to thousands, as well as variable data print(VDP) campaigns targeted at hundreds of thousands of recipients.
Documation also has two Xerox 8000 color digital printers that can print up to 80 pages per minute with line screens up to 600 cluster dots. At 2400 dpi, this equipment uses the highest resolution digital print engine available. A few examples of common digital color print jobs include book covers and meeting books, marketing brochures, flyers/sell sheets, post cards, and variable data/mail merge products (including personalized letters, post cards and inserts).
If you need black and white print, Documation currently has four Nuvera 288 digital printers. Nuvera features include the ability to print on BOTH coated and uncoated stocks with unprecendented 156 lpi halftone quality and 4800x600 dpi image quality that will look closer to magazine appearance than ever before possible with a digital press; and now, at the highest cut-sheet speed produced by any black and white digital print engine in the industry. Typical uses for black and white prints include publications that are text-heavy, such as conference proceedings, seminar manuals, and short run published books.
